Put your career in gear!

Training for tour and charter coach operators is usually provided by the company hiring the driver. Training includes safe driving techniques, risk management, advanced and severe weather driver training, driving for fuel efficiency, and in some cases includes psychology and behaviour management components.

Coach operators also learn additional skills, including first aid and injury management, marketing and public relations, and more.

Coach operators are tested at regular intervals: driver training is, for most companies, an ongoing process throughout the length of the driver's career.
